SUJIP (dir. Gintarė Parulytė, prod. Greta Akcijonaitė, Vincent Quénault, Jeanne Geiben, Greta
Garbo Films) It is Alexander’s first day at his new workplace. At first glance, it seems like an ordinary office, but when the phone rings, a voice on the other end belongs to Pijus, who confesses he wants to take his own life. It soon becomes clear this is a helpline for people contemplating suicide. An awkward conversation gradually transforms into a moving dialogue between two people of the same age.
AFTER PASSING NAPOLEON’S HAT (dir. Arnas Balčiūnas, prod. Augustė Puteikytė, LMTA KIMO) A son picks up his father from a psychiatric hospital and takes him home to his grandparents’ house. The father tries to rebuild their relationship, but the son, like the grandparents, remains distant and indifferent. They spend the day together.
PRAEIS (dir. Dovydas Drakšas, prod. Paprastesni)
As a teenager, Ada spent her summer holidays on the streets selling smuggled cigarettes alongside her father. Now an adult, she reconstructs her memories of him, dismantling the myth of her childhood and discovering him anew.
GARDUTĖ (dir. Eglė Vertelytė, prod. Lukas Trimonis)
Gardutė, the first Lithuanian culinary comedy, is a lively story about the adventure of two friends who find themselves in a high-class cooking reality TV show. Enthusiastic country girl Saulė (A.
Ravdo) and modest single mother Ona (E. Ozarinskaitė) are passionate cooks stuck working in “Gardutė,” a canteen in Kaunas. One day, Saulė, without Ona’s consent, signs them up for a culinary reality show where the grand prize is their own restaurant. Saulė lies to the judges, claiming that both women are qualified chefs from a restaurant called “La Gardutė.” Although initially the Gardutė team is regarded as a joke, their simple yet excellent recipes quickly turn them into audience favourites. Despite their success, tension starts to grow between the friends as Ona attracts more attention from viewers and from judge Emanuelis (L. Pobedonoscevas). The show’s celebrity chef Bruknė (L. Rastokaitė) seizes the opportunity to drive an even deeper wedge between them. Will Ona and Saulė’s friendship survive this test?

20:00 PREMIERE. PRESENTATION OF THE DOCUMENTARY FILM Laisvės švyturiai (Beacons of Freedom) AND DISCUSSION WITH THE CREATORS.
A visually poetic narrative invites viewers to discover the unique heritage of Lithuania’s seaside – its lighthouses – not merely as feats of engineering, but as a living part of history, memory, and everyday life along the coast. At the centre of the film are people whose lives are connected with lighthouses: keepers, ship captains, scientists, and members of local communities. Each story reveals not only details of daily life or historical context, but also a profound personal relationship with the sea, light, and time.
The documentary does not confine itself to the aesthetics or romantic symbolism of lighthouses. The creators embark on an exploration that unveils layers of engineering, technology, and the realities of the Soviet and post-war periods.

23:00 SEA FESTIVAL SENSATION – SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE Aqua Forte BY THE FRENCH TROUPE ILOTOPIE.
One of the most dazzling highlights of the past decade’s Sea Festival is the French theatre troupe ILOTOPIE with their show AQUA FORTE (Bright Water). As the sun sets and the water shimmers, humanity merges with the sky, water, and fire. Thirteen striking scenographic elements, a troupe of sixteen actors, and a utopian fantasy invite audiences to experience another world, where reality becomes a dream and the dream fades away.
During this spectacular 45-minute show, water takes centre stage as a vital force symbolising both fragility and strength. Powerful musical arrangements by Phil Spectrum, the play of lights, and magical pyrotechnic effects blend danger, joy, and a sense of awe. AQUA FORTE is an invitation to witness a theatrical miracle under the open sky, beside the river, amidst lights and water. The performance has already captivated thousands of spectators in London, Sydney, Chicago, and other cities worldwide — and now it arrives in Klaipėda.

23:00 SEA FESTIVAL SENSATION – SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE, AQUA FORTE BY THE FRENCH TROUPE ILOTOPIE.
One of the brightest highlights of the past decade’s Sea Festival is the French theatre troupe ILOTOPIE with their show AQUA FORTE (Bright Water). As the sun sets and the water begins to shimmer, humanity merges with the sky, water, and fire. Thirteen impressive scenographic elements, a troupe of sixteen actors, and a utopian fantasy invite audiences to experience a different world, where reality turns into a dream and the dream dissolves.
During this stunning 45-minute show, water takes centre stage as a vital force symbolising both fragility and strength. Powerful musical arrangements by Phil Spectrum, a play of lights, and magical pyrotechnic effects blend danger, joy, and tension. AQUA FORTE is an invitation to witness a theatrical miracle under the open sky, beside the river, amid lights and water. The show has already captivated thousands of spectators in London, Sydney, Chicago, and other cities worldwide — and now it arrives in Klaipėda.
This exceptional performance is presented as a gift by the Klaipėda City Municipality.
