The four ONOS. Four invisible beams and decaying floors.
Four shape space.
Creating an architecture of the body and of relationships. fractured, rebellious, intimate.
protesting, waiting, breaking the silence, reconciling, on/off/on/off-hold.

Through their bodies, they allow the return of what has remained invisible.
Onos revive the lost vibrations of voices.
Onos (re)create today.
Sheiko Dance Theatre’s performances are unexpected, multi-layered scenic narratives that interweave contemporary dance, music and visual arts. The performances of TRAVELLING CHURCHES, FORGOTTEN, INDIGO. DAS SCHLIEMANN PROJECT, the theatre highlighted the potential of dance to bring current issues of history and identity to the contemporary stage.
The new work ONOS continues the line of dance archaeology. This time the creators turn to the world of Lithuanian manors, the everyday life and fates of the women who lived there. Choreographers Agnija Šeiko and Lina Puodžiukaitė-Lanauskienė together with the creative team explore how silences, losses and interpretations of history have shaped our post-colonial identity and erased the sense of belonging to a community.
In ONOS, the body becomes architecture – movement connects space, its elements and the inner world of the human being. ONOS – as a common denominator – attempts to collect the scattered fragments of a lost history and to give voice back to those who have lived and will live again.
