6 March 2026, 6 pm Aidas Giniotis and his band PlumBum will present for the first time in Klaipėda Concert Hall a programme of songs by the well-known pioneer of sung poetry Vytautas Kernagis, other well-known bards and the “Keistuolių” theatre, entitled “Don’t be scared – it’s us”.
Director, teacher, actor, freak maestro Aidas Giniotis is well known to all. Giniotis, who has been spoiling the ears of listeners with his original (and not only!) songs for three decades, both alone and with other artists, will this time invite to the stage the group PlumBum (lit. “Krentanti plum”), consisting of five musical and energetic actors of the youngest generation. Džiugas Širvys, Aistė Šeštokaitė, Lyja Maknavičiūtė, Urtė Smulskytė – Auksoraitienė, Matas Pranskevičius – colourful and unique personalities, who, although loyal to the art of the theatre, do not take a single step away from the music.
Aidas Giniotis and his young creators will embark on a search for new sounds in the melodies that many people know by heart, and promise to awaken the songs of Vytautas Kernagis with instruments and voices in a way that is sensitive, varied, and, most importantly, very sincere.
